The ability of community-based mental health and substance use disorder/addiction agencies to continue to address the needs of the individuals we serve is threatened at this critical time due to the challenges with COVID-19 and the withholds to state aid payments for our services.  While we recognize the significant fiscal challenges the state currently faces, we have collectively advocated that the State budget simply cannot be balanced by continuing withholds and/or cutting behavioral health services to New York’s adults, children and families.

To that end, a collaboration of effort among statewide organizations representing adult and children mental health and substance use providers is respectfully asking your organization’s CEO to complete the survey link (below) to assist us in gathering needed data to support our joint efforts.

The information will only be used in the aggregate, and no individual providers will be identified. We are collecting organization names solely for internal purposes.
