SUMMARY:Re-Engineering Treatment One Step At A Time: ASAM Level Of Care Certification
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will discuss a joint initiative between The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) regarding level of care certification. The certification will reshape addiction treatment by providing an independent assessment of a treatment program’s ability to deliver services consistent with The ASAM Criteria®. Increasing patient access to evidence-based addiction treatment is critical to overcoming the devastating and deadly challenges of addiction. \nThis certification gives patients\, loved ones\, payors\, and regulators the knowledge that a given treatment program is capable of administering evidence-based addiction treatment that is appropriately matched to a patient’s individual needs.

DESCRIPTION:Recent federal legislation provides supplemental funding to mental health services through time-limited expansions of federal funding.\n\nThe Office of Mental Health (OMH) is seeking feedback from people who are current or former service recipients and their families to identify opportunities for how to best use these funds to meet prevention\, treatment\, and recovery support needs. Specifically\, we will focus on crisis\, children’s\, and adult community-based services.
