DESCRIPTION:Learn about the Medicare enrollment process for Marriage Family Therapists (MFTs) and Mental Health Counselors (MHCs) \nThe National Board for Certified Counselors and the Medicare Mental Health Workforce Coalition are offering a free webinar\, “Medicare 601: The Enrollment Process for Counselors and MFTs” on Nov. 17 from noon to 1:15 pm EST. \nTo implement Medicare Part B coverage for counselors and MFTs\, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) final rule\, which contains specific instructions for practitioners to enroll in the Medicare program. The MPFS also contains information on how practitioners can calculate their reimbursement for individual services provided in 2024\, including the required formula. \nJoin this webinar as the presenters explain the important features of the final rule\, note changes from the proposed rule and their implications\, and explain key enrollment provisions affecting practitioners.
