DESCRIPTION:Upcoming 1115 Waiver Programs \nWe are pleased to share that on March 5 from 10-11 am\, the NYS Council will host the first of three upcoming webinars focused on various aspects of New York’s amended 1115 Waiver. \nPeeling the Onion: New York’s 1115 Waiver \nMarch 5\, 10-11 am \n(Zoom Webinar link to follow – no registration necessary) \nWhile the Social Care Networks frenzy is well underway\, the strategic implications of the recent changes to New York’s 1115 Waiver are only beginning to be understood. \nPlease join your NYS Council colleagues for a “Members Only” webinar focused on the potential opportunities and challenges associated with New York’s recently approved 1115 Waiver amendment. \nWe will be joined by Joshua Rubin of Health Management Associates as we explore the ramifications of the recently approved waiver for behavioral health providers’ programs\, operations\, partnerships\, and payment structures.  Specifically\, we will consider the health-related social needs services\, workforce\, HERO\, and the Medicaid Hospital Global Budget Initiative waiver initiatives\, to include potential impacts on the way mental health and addictions care is delivered in New York State. \nThroughout the presentation\, we will stay focused on ways your agency can prepare today for the challenges and opportunities ahead.  Don’t miss this event!
