SUMMARY:OASAS Webinar re: PAS47M Form
DESCRIPTION:Earlier this month\, OASAS announced upcoming changes to the OASAS Client Data System (CDS)\, allowing programs to submit updates on the use of Medication for Addition Treatment (MAT) in a more timely and efficient way. This reporting requirement applies to Outpatient\, Opioid Treatment\, and Residential services programs\, and is available for use as of October 1\, 2025\, as previously announced. \nAlthough OASAS encourages providers to begin reporting MAT changes to the CDS as close as possible to October 1\, programs will be given a pause of enforcement activities until January 1\, 2026\, in order to allow additional time to implement changes to their systems. \nOn September 30th\, OASAS will host a webinar/ training on this new form. To register for the training go to: https://meetny-gov.webex.com/weblink/register/rcc568cb9a1f82eb318a97a1aad67a44e. The MAT Update PAS47M form and instructions are available on the OASAS Applications home tab under Forms and Instructions. On the User Guides tab\, we have also placed the guide for Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Update. \nThe information collected on the MAT Update Form (PAS-47M) is vital to ensuring equitable access to medication for Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) across the OASAS continuum of care. Additionally\, for programs providing methadone\, maintaining accurate medication records is critical for federal compliance.
