SUMMARY:Community Mental Health Loan Repayment Program Round 5 Webinar
DESCRIPTION:The state Office of Mental Health and state Office of Children and Family Services will host the first of two guidance webinars for Round 5 of the Community Mental Health Loan Repayment Program at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday\, Feb. 27. \nThe Community Mental Health Loan Repayment Program Round 5 supports community providers that offer direct care mental health services in the recruitment and retention of eligible licensed professionals serving children and/or adolescents. For eligible programs\, the Community Mental Health Loan Repayment Program is awarding state aid for loan repayment for both eligible existing workers and those who have been newly hired. Eligible positions include: \n\nLicensed master social workers\n• Licensed clinical social workers\n• Licensed mental health counselors\n• Licensed marriage and family therapists\n• Licensed creative arts therapists\n• Licensed psychoanalysts\n• Licensed psychologists\n\nOMH and OCFS will use the webinar to discuss the program’s background and overview\, walk through the application process\, and answer relevant questions. Register for this webinar.
