SUMMARY:Innovative and Engaging Total Wellness Activities
DESCRIPTION:Trainers: Caitlin Roeder\, LCSW and Diana Rizzo\, MPA\n(NYS Council\, Central Nassau Guidance & Counseling Services Inc)\nWednesday\, August 11 (10-11am)\nFunded by: SAMHSA\n\nThe pandemic has forced organizations to reconsider how they think about and promote employee wellness. This workshop presents a variety of initiatives that have successfully engaged staff this past year. Ideas range from scavenger hunts that encourage staff to build camaraderie outside of work-related tasks; CEO/CFO fireside chats and Town Halls that provide staff an opportunity to connect with and ask questions of management; and “Thank You” campaigns that explicitly acknowledge staff for their hard work and dedication during the pandemic.
