SUMMARY:OASAS Webinar on Part 853 Updates
DESCRIPTION:OASAS is pleased to announce that the emergency regulatory updates to the Part 853 (Credentialing of Addictions Professionals) are proposed to go into effect on an emergency basis on September 26\, 2023. When the regulation is filed OASAS will send out another notification. We invite you to join us for a live webinar to be held that morning from 9:00-10:00 am via the webinar information posted below. \nAfter an introduction from Commissioner Cunningham\, we will walk through the regulatory updates and other exciting changes including the development of an online Credentialing Management System (CMS) portal. When completed\, the CMS will move all credentialing submissions and processing online and eliminate paper applications and mail.
