OASAS Residential Services Provider Survey:
February 18, 2025
The NYS Council has been working with OASAS residential treatment providers in the Finger Lakes region for many years, educating OASAS leaders, advocating for additional resources and regulatory flexibility, securing rate increases for OASAS treatment providers, and supporting agencies as they continue to operate these important programs and services. During this time, the issue of tenant evictions has been a regular topic.
Upstate OASAS providers recently began meeting together to discuss this issue. We are requesting your participation in a statewide survey designed to capture important information regarding the depth and breadth of the problems experienced by impacted providers.
The purpose of this survey is to gather high-level data about the challenges you face and the practices you employ to manage tenant evictions in OASAS residential treatment settings. Your input will help identify patterns and commonalities, paving the way for a deeper discussion about solutions and improvements. The initial data will be broken down by program type in future analyses to uncover trends and pinpoint areas for growth.
Your feedback is invaluable to this process. If you would like to be a part of future discussions and advocacy efforts on this topic, please let us know! Write to Kathi Bell at FLACRA using this email address: kathi.bell@flacra.org. Kathi will add you to our listserv so you can receive survey results and invitations to future meetings focused on this topic. Please share this email and the link (below) with your OASAS colleagues who operate these programs.
