Good morning,
Several months ago the NYS Council connected with our OASAS colleagues with a billing question about OTP services that are provided to patients/residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long Term Care Facilities. OASAS has updated its APG guidance document to directly address our question (on page 28 – Section 5 at the link embedded in the note below) to the care recipient’s advantage (as it relates to access to care) and the provider in certain situations. Take a look at page 28 when you can and let me know if I can be of further assistance.
