I’m in NYC this morning to attend the Mental Health News Education Annual Leadership Awards event. I will be accepting the Behavioral Health Advocacy Award (see attached Program).  

I am so humbled and grateful to work with all of you. I’ll be accepting the award on behalf of our association, our ‘mighty army’ that constantly demonstrates courage, integrity and strategic ‘smarts’ despite the odds.

Together we’ve had some major accomplishments that we can all be proud of. But there is so much more to accomplish.  

THANK YOU for continuing to support our work and leaning in on the difficult decisions we often make to preserve and increase access to care for New Yorkers who need our services.
