Once again, the NYS Senate has passed our OMIG Audit Reform bill, S4955A.

We are deeply grateful to Senator Harckham and all members of the Senate who have repeatedly demonstrated their strong support for our efforts to bring increased transparency and fairness to an audit process that is in desperate need of reform.

In the Assembly our bill is still in the Assembly Health Committee.  Unclear if it will be moving forward during the remainder of the legislative session.  The Senate has messaged that it will be leaving town on June 13 whereas the Assembly has signaled that they will be in town longer, possibly until the 18th of June.  Stand by for more.
