Earlier today State Medicaid Director Amir Bassiri gave the keynote address at the United Hospital Fund’s Annual Medicaid Conference in New York City.  Please find below the PowerPoint slides Amir used to discuss the history of the Medicaid Program in New York State as well as anticipated impacts associated with the rolling enactment of the various provisions in HR1 – the federal Budget Reconciliation bill that was signed by President Trump on July 4, 2025.
