Yesterday the NYS Council submitted our formal comments in response to the state’s promulgation of draft Part 600.1 – new CCBHC regulations that will govern the NYS CCBHC Program.  Comments were due on a Sunday so we followed orders! 

As you know, recently (12/9/2025) NYS submitted a SPA to CMS seeking approval to move what we used to call ‘CCBHC Demo Services’ under the state’s Medicaid Plan, effective October 1, 2025.  A response from CMS is pending.  Here’s a link to the SPA submission posted on the DoH Website:    https://www.health.ny.gov/regulations/state_plans/status/non-inst/original/docs/os_2025-12-09_spa_25-30.pdf
