We wanted to let you know that the Single State Agencies are releasing a survey to Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs) via the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors (NASADAD), in partnership with the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence.

This OTP Patient Census will gather critical data directly from individual programs, including how many patients are receiving treatment in OTPs and what medications they are receiving through these programs. This data will be used to better inform the State Opioid Response program, and will likely contribute broadly to opioid treatment policy.

This survey is very important, and we encourage all NYS Council OTP providers to participate in the survey when it makes its’ way to you.  

We will share additional information with you all as we receive it.
