OASAS has completed its’ analysis of which (if any) of its’ Programs and Services are required to comply with the CMS Vaccine mandate.  Based on the analysis community-based (non-hospital) inpatient detox, residential services, outpatient programs and OTPs are NOT required to comply with the CMS mandate.
OASAS’ analysis is currently with the Governor’s Office awaiting approval.  OASAS will get guidance to the field as soon as possible.  I’m working on getting similar information from OMH.

Note:  Best not to make any major decisions until it is all in writing as guidance from the O agencies.

Finally, as you know, over the weekend a federal appeals court temporarily blocked the Department of Labor from implementing the OSHA mandate.
