This year, the NYS Council will hold its 2021 Annual Business Meeting via Zoom on December 28 from 10:00 – 11:30 am.   

We know the end of December is a busy time and that many member agency representatives are off for the holidays. We welcome any representative from a NYS Council member agency to join the meeting. Our only request is that you indicate who (from your organization) will attend and if they are empowered to formally represent your agency in the event that we need to conduct a formal vote. 

During the meeting we will review association finances, discuss the results of our 2021 Membership Dues Campaign that includes another year of significant growth in our membership, and reflect on our administrative and operational priorities for the year to come.  We are also very pleased to announce that our featured speaker is NYS Acting Medicaid Director Brett R. Friedman.  

Please let us know who from your agency will be attending the meeting, and who will be your designated representative (as discussed above).  To register, please send a note to Cindy Levernois, NYS Council Director for Communications and Member Services at cindy@nyscouncil.org and let her know the name, job title, and email address for each agency representative who would like to participate in the meeting. Upon receiving this information, Cindy will send you information on how to access the meeting via Zoom. A final agenda for the meeting will be sent out on December 20.
