During last week’s NYS Council Member Support call, several NYS Council members had questions regarding the new OMIG Compliance Program regulations and guidance.  At that time we made a commitment to quickly engage representatives from the OMIG for a discussion where NYS Council members can ask questions and check their interpretation of certain elements of the regulations/guidance.

Please join with your NYS Council colleagues on Wednesday, April 5 from 12:00-1:00 pm for a discussion with representatives from the OMIG regarding guidance related to provider compliance programs, self-disclosure, and Medicaid managed care fraud, waste, and abuse prevention programs regulations.

Here is a link that takes you to the OMIG Compliance Library.  The Office has recently added information related to the new regulations:  https://omig.ny.gov/compliance/compliance-library   This may help inform our discussion with OMIG representatives on Wednesday.
