Last night (in the excitement re: swift movement of our OMIG legislation in the Senate), I inadvertently skipped a step or two when reporting the status of the OMIG bills.
Wednesday morning corrected OMIG Audit Reform bill status: The Senate allowed the bill to be discharged from the Finance Committee to Rules and then to the floor where it is. But we don’t see it on Active List for today so it is unclear if they’ll take it up today or another day but clearly Leadership is ok with it since they moved it to Rules and the Floor. In the Assembly, the bill will go out of Codes today and we assume to Ways & Means.
