Good afternoon, 

The fight to ensure our budget priorities are included in the soon-to-be-released Assembly and Senate one house budget bills continues.  We cannot let up on our advocacy efforts.

FRESH LETTERS!  We have updated the letters that are embedded in our new NYS Council’s Advocacy Center:  https://nyscouncil.org/advocacy-action-center/  Use our online system to send a letter to your representatives.  It’s fast and easy!  

To date our advocacy has generated hundreds of letters but (to be frank) we need more – many more letters to go to our elected representatives. 

Please help us to keep the pressure on lawmakers by asking them to ensure their one house budget bills include OMIG Audit Reform AND a 3.2% Human Services COLA plus $500M for mental health and addiction agencies in recognition of the many years the former Administration failed to provide a COLA.
