FYI – According to a press release, the NYS Department of Health has announced that Dr. James McDonald will lead the Department as Acting Commissioner starting January 1, 2023, until a permanent commissioner is appointed. McDonald is currently the Medical Director for the New York State Department of Health.  More to follow.
