Behavioral Health Carve-In to Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP)

Effective January 1, 2023, Behavioral Health Services will be included in the Managed Long Term Care Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP) benefit package. The New York State Department of Health (DOH), Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) are working to integrate services for Medicaid and Medicare dually eligible and MAP-enrolled members to streamline care and better treat enrollee’s needs holistically.
This webinar will provide an overview of the transition, a description of the services being carved-in and specific billing requirements
