Webinar on Medicaid Financing

The Georgetown University Center for Children and Families (CCF) invites you to a virtual session on the basics of Medicaid Financing. This webinar is free and open to the public.

This webinar will cover the basics of Medicaid financing, including how the federal-state partnership works, how federal funding is mandatory and not subject to annual appropriations, and how states finance their share of Medicaid costs. It will also cover how H.R. 1, as well as implementing regulations and guidance, will negatively affect state budgets and their ability to sustain their Medicaid programs moving forward.
