Subject: **Follow Up** – F-MAP Workforce ARPA/WRR COVID Expense Reporting

Hello –
The purpose of this email is to provide follow-up guidance for Office of Mental Health (OMH) licensed, regulated, and designated providers who received funds to be used for workforce recruitment and retention activities under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. This legislation provided supplemental funding for mental health services through the time-limited expansion of the Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) share of funds for Medicaid programs.
Awardees in receipt of Workforce Recruitment and Retention funds under the enhanced FMAP funding must complete the attached expenditure report (“WRR Reporting Template”) to show updated allocation usage of the allotted enhancement. Please submit an updated report if you have not done so already.
The expenditure report and applicable guidance for this initiative can be found on the OMH website at https://omh.ny.gov/omhweb/planning/cmhsbg-fmap/fmap-funding.html under the “Fiscal Reporting Requirements for eFMAP Workforce Awards” heading.
Submitting your expense report to OMH:
- Deadline: The expenditure report should be e-mailed to OMH at the earliest practical date, but no later than 12/27/2024.
- Submission Email: Submit via email to OMH.Workforce@omh.ny.gov
- Email Subject Line: Enhanced FMAP Expenditure Report – Provider Name
