Updated Info (adjusted after our call this morning) below:  

LMHC current = 3,000 total hours of which 1500 are direct

Proposed LCMHC would be 3000 total hours of which 2000 are direct

LMFT currently have 1500 total hours of which 1500 are direct, however they are allowed to count their 600 internships as part of the 1500.

Proposed LCMHC would have 3000 total hours of which 2000 are direct – no double counting

LPs (Licensed Psychoanalysts) currently have 1500 total hours of which 750 are direct, however, they are allowed to count their 300 hours of educational experience requirement as part of the 750

Proposed LCPs would have to do 2000 total hours of which 2000 are direct – no double counting

By way of comparison, LCSWs have 2000 hours all direct….no double counting.
