FYI – Many thanks to those NYS Council member agencies that joined with the NYS Council and signed on to this letter.  We received the sign on request late in the game however we turned it around to our members immediately.

Unfortunately the Governor vetoed the bill.  Nevertheless, it’s a very strong show of support that will help us climb the next hill on this critical issue.   See below. Thanks again.

Thank you for signing onto the letter in support of the nonprofit contracting reform bill. Attached is the version that was sent to the executive, and here is a link, if you’d prefer a digital version.

Unfortunately, we learned yesterday that the governor vetoed the bill; we knew was a possibility.

However, having a strong show of support for nonprofit contracting reform puts us in a stronger position for conversations moving forward.
