OMH is about to release a notification to the Plans regarding MHOTRS School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) clinics.  As of today, the rates for SBMH are not available on the DOH website or the 3M grouper.  As such, and given this two-month delay, the State is granting MMCPs a one-time extension from February 15, 2024 to April 15, 2024 to configure their systems and reprocess any impacted claims with the expectation they are working with the information available to configure their systems immediately.  OMH is also sending the plans a list of the SBMH providers to assist them with their configurations until such time as the DOH website is updated.

I know this is very frustrating news and that it will create more work for you and your staff.  It appears to be a done deal; however, we will continue to push OMH and DoH to move implementation forward as quickly as possible.  Our kids deserve our focused advocacy and we are going to continue to deliver for them.
