Governor Hochul is expected to sign the 3 bills (listed below) during a bill signing ceremony at John Jay College in Manhattan later this morning.
Yesterday, the Governor’s Office reached out to the NYS Council, inviting us to join the ceremony. Unfortunately, I’ve got a full day of meetings here in Albany and will be unable to attend the event but I have expressed our sincere thanks to the Governor and her team for their continued efforts to decriminalize behaviors that are symptoms of active addiction, and to address unequal access to care, including MAT, for New Yorkers in need.
