As promised please see the attached letter that we just sent to Governor Hochul re: the creation (in the SFY26 state budget agreement) of two Contingency Funds – one for OASAS and one for OMH – with state dollars the agencies can use to help mitigate the consequences associated with the abrupt termination of several SAMHSA federal grants that are critical to our systems of care, and our ability to provide continuity of care to the individuals and families we serve as well as those waiting for care.

A similar letter is going to the leaders in the Assembly and the Senate.
