It is important for NYS Council members to understand what is happening with the changing Medicaid Pharmacy benefit, effective 4/1.  DoH has been offering and information designed to update stakeholders across the healthcare continuum.  Please familiarize yourself with the topic and we will share more detailed information in the days and weeks to come.  See attached Special Medicaid Update, and also see information below.

On Monday, October 19, 2020, the New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) hosted a public webinar regarding the Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) II State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2020-21 budget initiative to transition the Medicaid Pharmacy benefit from Managed Care to the Fee-For-Service (FFS) program.
