Webinar summary: National Council Policy and Advocacy experts discussed outcomes of the federal elections, changes to party and committee leadership, the departure of key allies and welcoming of future policy champions, and different scenarios for how the current lame duck session and the new Congress may unfold. The webinar also covered forthcoming changes to federal agency leaders and updates on several recently finalized rules, including the Department of Labor’s overtime final rule and the 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule final rule.
