New Listservs created on the topics of
Human Resources and Compliance Issues

In our continuing efforts to improve communication with and between our members, the NYS Council has created two new Listserv groups – one for staff members interested in Human Resource issues and one for staff members interested in Compliance issues.

We have had great success using a Listserv for the Billing, Coding and Reimbursement staff in our member agencies, so we wanted to open another door to opportunities for dialogue, sharing of information and resources, and asking questions peer-to-peer, etc. with these additional groups.

How to Join

Any staff member from a NYS Council member agency is invited to join these groups.

If you are interested in subscribing to one of the lists, please email Cindy Levernois at with your name, organization, email, and which list you would like to join. She will add you to the list and you will then receive a welcome Listserv message from the system with instructions. You may unsubscribe at any time directly from the emails that are generated within each group.

How the Listservs Work

Once an individual is added to a Listserv, they can email by using the following email addresses and the email will be distributed to the entire group. There is no moderator for each of the Listserv groups – this is solely for information sharing among our membership.

When an email is sent, the sender will be the person originating the message and it will be addressed to the entire Listserv group. An example of what it looks like is below.
