Yesterday, lead consultants from Health Management Associates (HMA) hosted a Webinar for stakeholders re: NY’s new Strategic Health Equity Reform Payment Arrangements (SHERPA) 1115 Waiver submission to CMS.

The NYS Council will submit formal comments re: NY’s new waiver submission on or before May 13 (the deadline for the first round of written public comments), and we will testify during the upcoming (May 3) public hearing.  Based on the timeline (discussed in the presentation) there will be several more opportunities along the way to share our comments and recommendations with state leads.

We welcome your thoughts and comments regarding the new waiver.  We will have more analysis shortly.
