NYS Council Member Agency Wants to Pick Your Brain!

A NYS Council member agency representative has a question for fellow Council members.  Please share your responses with me if you can provide some assistance!

  1. A few of our programs are licensed by OTDA.  We run a congregate homeless shelter and a residential transitional shelter under this licensure.  Would we be a qualified employer for the Health Care Worker Bonus Program under this definition?
  2. We also operate a Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter licensed under OCFS.  It appears to us that these employees would be eligible under 2 (c) but we want to ensure we are interpreting this correctly?
    1. If so, this would make us a Qualified Employer.  Would we only submit for employees working in this program or would ALL our employees be entitled if they are patient-facing?

Do you have experience with these Programs and Services and if so, have you found answers to these questions?
