NYS Council Regulatory Affairs Workgroup Meeting Postponed

Unfortunately, we need to postpone the kickoff meeting of the NYS Council Regulatory Affairs Workgroup. I have received several notes from member agency representatives who want to attend our meeting today (was scheduled for this afternoon from 2:30 -4:00) but are conflicted due to the OMH Town Hall meeting that is taking place this afternoon during the same time frame. The NYS Council wants to support your participation in the OMH Town Hall meetings – it’s important. See below for information on how to participate in the Town Hall meeting later today.
NEW DATE: The kickoff meeting for the NYS Council’s Regulatory Affairs meeting is now scheduled for December 7 from 2:30 – 4:00.

OMH Statewide Town Hall Featuring Commissioner Ann Sullivan, M.D.
Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
OMH is conducting a Statewide Town Hall with Commissioner Ann Sullivan, M.D., presenting and taking feedback on the future of New York State’s public mental health system.
OMH is dedicated to providing individuals and families access to quality, integrated services and supports that foster recovery and well-being. Public input is crucial in assisting the agency in meeting the needs of all of the people we serve. All comments will be reviewed and considered pursuant to Section 5.07 of the New York State Mental Hygiene Law.

This year the town hall will be in-person at 44 Holland Avenue in Albany. There is also an option to join virtually online. Comments and questions can be made both online and in-person. Please register in advance using the appropriate link below. Choose the attendance option that is right for you; in person or virtually through WebEx.
