Tomorrow morning the NYS Council will host our second ‘Preparing for an Uncertain Future’ Learning Collaborative meeting featuring our consultants from Health Management Associates (HMA).  This series is designed to assist our members as they prepare for changes arising from recent passage of the Federal Budget Reconciliation bill (enacted into law on 7/4/2025).

The NYS Council has prepared a chart (attached) that briefly describes various provisions in the new Law that will be of import to our members and the individuals you serve, to include the current ‘turn on’ dates for various provisions.  Please use this document as a resource guide as we continue to discuss the timing and potential impacts of various Reconciliation provisions.  We will update the chart from time to time and as more information becomes available.  Note:  This document is subject to change as we continue to peel back the layers of the new Law.
