I know you will agree there are MANY topics and issues associated with our collective efforts to survive and thrive in the wake of recent scope of practice and licensing changes in our field.  Let’s get back on track and work on this together!

Please join your fellow NYS Council member agency representatives on Monday, October 27 from 1-2:15 for a meeting of the (NYS Council) Scope of Practice Workgroup, and share your ideas for agenda items with me at any time between now and October 22.  Send your suggestions to:  lauri@nyscouncil.org  In the meantime, I’d like to remind you that the NYS Council has a listserv dedicated to this topic where members of our Scope of Practice Workgroup (and those who want to be members of the Group) can talk to each other between meetings, share information, pose questions and get support as they continue to tackle this complicated issue.  You can write to the members of the Workgroup using this address:  Scope-of-Practice@listserv.nyscouncil.org     Your message will be sent to those already on the listserv.  If you would like to join the listserv, please send Cindy Levernois a note and request to be added:  cindy@nyscouncil.org
