Each year on or around October 1 the Division of the Budget writes to state agency leaders (among others) with instructions on the preparation of its agency budget that is drafted and then sent by the state agency to DoB for review, etc.  The process for the state agency starts long before now but the Letter is critical.

Please find the 25-26 Call Letter embedded below.  The Letter calls for funding for SFY 2026 not to exceed the funding levels in the final SFY 2025 state budget excluding one-time investments. The Call Letter asks for Agency budget requests by October 17th for SFY 2026.
