I wrote to both Medical Directors (Dr. Kelly Ramsey at OASAS and Dr. Thomas Smith at OMH), stating that OMH and OASAS are aware of changes to DoH masking guidance for hospitals and other healthcare facilities and they are wondering if same is coming for the OMH and OASAS programs that are currently required to enforce masking requirements.

In response, Dr. Kelly Ramsey stated that ‘providers should continue to follow masking guidance until you hear otherwise’.  Dr. Tom Smith indicated that ‘OMH hopes to have their updated guidance out later today.’
