The OMH Medicaid Compliance Office has released the Self-Disclosure Notification Protocol outlining procedures for local providers to notify OMH when they self-disclose a Medicaid overpayment to the Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG). The protocol includes provider obligations for self-disclosures and additional procedures for notification of damaged, lost or destroyed records.
