Many NYS Council members have asked us about the implementation of the new OMH Part 599 regs that were said to be effective today, 11/14/22.  I spoke with OMH earlier, and here’s what they said:

‘The Part 599 regulations have been submitted and are now anticipated to be promulgated (effective) as of 11/23/22.  OMH is currently working on the notification that will be sent to providers via list servs once the regulations are in effect. The changes themselves have been explained in webinars already put out and archived on the MCTAC website, but we will also do more in the new year as specific questions surface.’
