Early this week I shared the Sign On Letter we drafted and then shared with other associations and groups, requesting their support for Part P – the MCO Competitive Bid proposal in the executive budget.  Sixteen organizations signed the letter, urging the members of the Legislature to ensure the proposal is included in their one house budget bills that are likely to hit the streets on or about March 14.

The NYS Council will continue our push to support the proposal.  Yesterday we made a media purchase with the Empire Report – a daily news sheet that is constantly updating news stories of interest to New Yorkers.  The Empire Report is the  ‘go to’ early morning read for lawmakers across the state.  Please continue to talk with lawmakers about the importance of Part P and let us know if you need support!
