As you know, the NYS Council is always pressing the state agencies and others downtown regarding timely processing and payments for providers.

Attached please find a list of agencies with OMH contracts that are pending in the State Financial System (SFS) for provider approval (electronic signature) and provider review (before it moves to signature).  As you may know, NY transitioned from the Grants Gateway into SFS which required a temporary system shut down in Dec/Jan and some changes to the workflow that will produce long-term improvements.

OMH is currently expediting more than 50 RFPs and trying to keep all the procurements and contracts moving forward.  In the future  OMH will be sharing these types of lists with associations including the NYS Council in an attempt to reduce processing times on the provider end.  The Office will also be redirecting resources to engage providers using normal channels of emails and calls, however, the Office believes a regular process of flagging the pending contracts for the associations with the intent of helping to make sure CEO and CFO leadership knows the status of any contracts pending with their organizations will be helpful to reduce turnaround times. These efforts may also produce a benefit for timely processing of contract amendments for COLA and property pass though.
