Attached, please find a Revised Rule Making issued 7/3/24 by the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services related to Voluntary Certification of Recovery Residences in NYS. The discussion includes a summary of the comments OASAS received during the public comment period.  The purpose is to establish the requirements for recovery residences certified by OASAS.

Also attached, please find a Proposed Rule Making issued 73/24 by the Department of Health related to Contingent Reserve Requirements for Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). This rule maintains the contingent reserve requirement at 7.25% through 2025 applied to the Medicaid Managed Care, HIV SNP and HARP programs.

The last attachment includes a Notice of Adoption issued 7/3/24 by the Office of Mental Health Relating to Residential Treatment Facilities (RTF). The purpose is to provide clarity and provide uniformity relating to RTF’s and to implement Chapter 58 of the Laws of 2020.  Public comments are permitted for 60 days from the point of publication (July 3).
