While we work to finalize a formal announcement regarding an upcoming NYS Council two-part training series we will offer next month, we wanted to give everyone a heads up and suggest that you save the dates for our upcoming series that will provide in-depth training and technical assistance to ensure you achieve the best possible outcome when  negotiating contracts with commercial insurers and MCOs.

Some NYS Council members may recall that before behavioral health services were carved in to Medicaid managed care, the NYS Council hosted a soup to nuts contracting training for our members that was a great success. We went across the state with Attorney Adam Falcone (NYS Council Contracting consultant), delivering extremely useful information to 600 NYS Council member agency representatives who were glued to their seats for the entire day.

Make no mistake:  This is not an overview or a one hour briefing.  This is a highly specific two part series for anyone in your agency who is in any way responsible for contracting with payers.
