Advocacy Alert

The Senate is currently negotiating their budget plan. They are deciding whether to follow the House of Representatives’ spending blueprint, which called for close to $900 billion in funding cuts from the House Energy and Commerce Committee – most of which would come from Medicaid. Recent reporting indicates the Senate is hoping to finalize their budget plans within the next two weeks. We updated our messaging accordingly, and urge you to send a new letter to your Senators.  Even if you’ve already sent one, this is a great opportunity to continue following up. Let’s let them know we’re not going anywhere!  We also created a “click to call” opportunity that connects you directly with your Senators’ D.C. offices.
