OMH’s second Town Hall meeting describing impacts associated with the enactment of HR1 – the OBBBA Law, just concluded. For NYS Council members who follow the information and analysis we have been sharing with members since the bill’s passage, there was nothing new that came out of the call although it did begin with a discussion (led by NY State of Health Executive Director Daniele Holahan) of the anticipated impacts of the OBBBA on New York’s Essential Plan obtained by eligible New Yorkers through the state’s NY State of Health Marketplace.
Below are slides used by Commissioner Sullivan and NY State of Health Executive Director Daniele Holahan, who is the Executive Director of NY’s Health Plan Marketplace.
Use the arrows in the top left corner to move through the slides.
The slide titled “Who is Impacted?” that relates to Adults aged 19-64 who qualify for Medicaid based on their “modified adjusted gross income” refers to Work Requirements. Unclear what mental health or mental health disability means. SSI-D exempted.
