An updated Telehealth Services Guidance for OMH Providers has been posted to the OMH website at: https://omh.ny.gov/omhweb/guidance/telehealth-guidance.pdf.This edition updates Part 596 of New York State’s Mental Health Law to allow for greater flexibility and capacity for the utilization of Telehealth Services in New York State. Providers should review these guidelines as well as Part 596 in addition to this guidance to inform necessary policy changes, as applicable. Please be on the lookout for technical assistance related to this in the coming weeks from MCTAC.
