Webinar Resources Now Available

Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP) Billing Webinar: Behavioral Health Providers

Effective January 1, 2023, Behavioral Health Services will be included in the Managed Long Term Care Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP) benefit package. The New York State Department of Health (DOH), Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) are working to integrate services for Medicaid and Medicare dually eligible and MAP-enrolled members to streamline care and better treat enrollee’s needs holistically.

On July 27th, DOH, OMH, OASAS and MCTAC hosted a webinar that provided an overview of the transition, a description of the services being carved-in and specific billing requirements for NYS Behavioral Health Providers serving MAP-enrolled members.
