Medicaid & SNAP Changes: What Behavioral Health Providers Need to Know

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), Office of Addiction Services and Support (OASAS), New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) and state agency partners, in partnership with the Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC), is pleased to announce the launch of its H.R.1 Federal Reconciliation Bill Impact on NYS Medicaid Training Series.

As the federal Medicaid landscape undergoes significant structural changes, New York State is taking proactive steps to help ensure the behavioral health workforce remains stable, compliant, and financially resilient. This specialized training initiative is designed to provide OMH and OASAS providers with the support, education, and practical tools needed to effectively navigate these transitions and adapt to the evolving Medicaid environment.
